CipherLoc has received certification from the National Institute of Standards and Technology for a data security platform that is based on the company's polymorphic encryption engine,
The Federal Information Processing Standard 140-2 certificate validates the CipherLoc Polymorphic Encryption Engine Core's compliance with NISTÂ regulations for cryptography, the company said Monday.
The platform is now eligibile for purchase by federal agencies, government service providers and other organizations that must comply with standards meant to protect sensitive data in the U.S. and Canadian public sectors, as well as in regulated industries.
Priot to the FIPS 140-2 validation, an independently accredited lab evaluated CipherLoc's encryption module against NIST benchmarks during a SafeLogic-managed test series.
