Keith Smith, former senior vice president of Science Applications International Corp.'s digital infrastructure service line, has joined consulting and professional services contractor IHRC as chief operating officer.
He will lead IHRC's overall operations that include strategic planning, client relations and business development functions as well as oversee an applied bioinformatics partnership with Georgia Institute of Technology, the company said Thursday.
At SAIC, Smith held verious leadership positions encompassing business operations, growth, organizational design and profit-and-loss accounts during his more than 30-year career there.
He served as a cost engineer at NASA earlier in his career.
Atlanta-based IHRC is a minority woman-owned company that supports government clients in the areas of information technology, health science and other related fields.
