Nick Guerra, former vice president of engineering and manufacturing technology at Perfekta, has been named chief technology officer at Cadence Aerospace.

He will lead the development and implementation of platforms designed to manage process standardization, productivity and quality as well as help develop the company's technology vision and support technical talent recruitment efforts in his new position, Cadence said Wednesday.
Guerra spent two decades at Perfekta and served on the former's board of directors from 2011 to 2018.
Cadence is a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners and has centers of excellence that offers machined parts, assemblies, subassemblies and support services to the aerospace and defense sectors.
