The U.S. Army has certified iDirect Government's satellite routers and line cards to support military communications via the Wideband Global SATCOM constellation.
iDirectGov said Monday it received certification for its portfolio of 9-Series defense products after completing an evaluation and test series aimed to assess the devices' ability to operate with with WGS.
The suite includes the 900 satellite router board, the 9350 satellite router and DLC-T and DLC-R line cards. The offerings are designed to run on Evolution 3.4 software.
WGS satellites are designed to support beyond-line-of-sight and in-theater connectivity for U.S., Canadian and Australian armed forces.
The Army certification adds to the iDirectGov's TL 9000 and ISO 9001:2008 designations.
