The Office of Personnel Management is looking for a contractor to help the agency create and implement a change management strategy for Trust Funds Federal Financial System modernization efforts.
In a draft statement of objectives posted Wednesday, OPM said the strategy will include a road map to track project milestones and transition trust funds personnel to an updated FFS.
The current system works to help users manage more than $1T in combined assets across federal retirement, health benefits and life insurance programs. The 30-year-old platform requires system updates to address efficiency issues, the agency noted.
OPM aims to automate trust funds processing, increase efficiency and reduce manual effort and human errors through consolidation of processes into a new operations environment.
Interested vendors can submit input through March 15.
