Shannon Silverstein, a 20-year sales professional focused on the law enforcement community, has joined Mountain View, Calif.-based software company Elastic as director for homeland mission support, G2Xchange ETC reported Wednesday.
She will lead the company in providing services to assist government customers in their big data and analytic projects.
Silverstein joined Elastic from Cloudera Government Solutions, where she most recently served as manager of law enforcement portfolio and special programs for the departments of Homeland Security and Justice.
She also managed DOJ and intelligence community portfolio at NetIQ. Prior to that, Silverstein served as senior account executive for national security group at SAS.
She was also a senior associate for justice and homeland security sales at Booz Allen Hamilton.
