DynCorp Wins Veteran Friendly Employer of the Year Award - top government contractors - best government contracting event

DynCorp International has received the Veteran Friendly Employer of the Year award from Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County, Texas, for hiring military veterans to work at the global government services company.

The company said Monday it recruited 1,746 veterans last year and that former military personnel account for nearly 66 percent of its workforce.

“DI’s legacy of supporting and appreciating veteran employees is integral to our company culture and values, and it’s a privilege for this support to be recognized,” said Greg Burden, military outreach manager at DynCorp.

Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County consists of the Alliance Opportunity Center and five ancillary contractors that provide employment, career training, child care and veteran services across the region.

“Tarrant County’s workforce development team works hard to help provide local employment opportunities,” said Elaine Kinnee who leads recruiting operations at DynCorp.
