Science Applications International Corp. has won a spot in Forbes magazine’s 2019 list of best employers for diversity.
SAIC said Wednesday that Forbes recognized the company for its inclusivity efforts such as the Mosaic workplace diversity program.
Statista, a German market research firm, helped Forbes in compiling the list based on the survey responses of 50K American employees under companies with a minimum of 1,000 personnel.
“We are incredibly honored to be recognized by Forbes for our inclusive values, and I am especially proud of our employees for living and demonstrating this commitment daily. Understanding how our similarities and differences impact our interactions and shape our viewpoints is essential for creating an inclusive culture and greatly contributes to our company’s performance,†said Nazzic Keene, SAIC chief operating officer and a 2019 Wash100 winner.
Keene currently serves on the company’s inclusion and diversity council and is a sponsor of the Women’s Business Resource Group.
SAIC noted that it supports four interest-based business resource groups in line with its diversity goals.
