CenturyLink can start to offer its cloud service offerings to New Mexico’s public sector organizations through an agreement with the National Association of State Procurement Officials.
New Mexico agreed to participate in NASPO's ValuePoint Cloud Solutions Master Agreement, which helps state agencies and authorized political subdivisions to access CenturyLink’s cloud and managed services, the company said Wednesday.
The company will market its infrastructure-as-a-service, platform-as-a-service and software-as-a-service platforms via the multistate cooperative procurement agreement.
“With government agencies increasingly hosting highly sensitive information in the cloud today, maintaining a secure and reliable environment is more critical than ever,†said Gray Sigler, director of CenturyLink’s state, local government and education division.
