BAE Systems has received a potential five-year, $32.4M contract to repair two kinds of airborne countermeasures technology for the U.S. Navy.
The company will fix two ALE-55 radio frequency self-protection units and 103 ALQ-126B electronic countermeasures systems used on the military service's multiple aircraft platforms, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Work under the firm-fixed-price contract will take place in Florida, New Hampshire and Indiana through December 2023.
The Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support is the contracting activity and the service branch will obligate working capital funds upon issuance of individual task orders.
