Gavin Greene, vice president of business development at NT Concepts, told Trajectory Magazine in an interview published Monday how the company incorporates artificial intelligence into its platforms.
“We use AI with sensor and internet of things data to help automate onboard prognostics and improve efficiency of logistics pipelines,†he said.
The company has started to build for the intelligence community new tools for object identification and motion tracking in video and imagery, he noted.
Greene cited the role of machine learning in the future of geospatial intelligence and mentioned security, legacy systems and data volumes as some of the mission challenges facing government clients.
He said the company delivers services to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the National Background Investigations Bureau and provides analytics and enterprise IT to other agencies through prime contracts.
He discussed the four phases of the company’s Marketplace Next approach to bring technology platforms to the federal government and offered advice for other firms seeking to enter the government space.
