Amazon Web Services has unveiled a new program that seeks to help independent software vendors secure authority-to-operate certifications through the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program and other compliance programs.
The ATO on AWS initiative aims to provide ISVs with tools, training, control implementation details and CloudFormation templates as well as guidance from the company’s technology and consulting partners through the Security Automation and Orchestration program, AWS said Tuesday.
Those partners include Red Hat, Splunk, Allgress, Coalfire, Kratos, Puppet, Trend Micro, OKTA, Barracuda, Anitian, Telos, CloudCheckr, Saint, Center for Internet Security, GitHub and Yubico.
The company will also leverage its AWS Partner Network members to come up with programs to help software providers secure ATO and meet other compliance requirements.
