Hoverfly Technologies has unveiled a suite of unmanned aircraft systems intended for use in military operations in any weather condition.
The company said Monday its LiveSky SENTRY product line includes three system configurations designed to comply with the IP54 enclosure and MIL-STD-810 environmental test standards.
Rob Topping, Hoverfly CEO, said that compliance to these standards would allow military, public safety and commercial security customers to operate LiveSky UAS in harsh environments.
The SkyBox precision landing platform has enclosed covered and uncovered design variants, both of which are designed to be controlled remotely with cloud-based software or a software development kit.
A third configuration is an expedition-tailored mobile tether kit consisting of a hand-held tablet and a landing nest.
