Joanne Collins Smee, former director of technology transformation services at the General Services Administration, has been appointed as chief commercial officer and executive committee member at Xerox.
As CCO, she will oversee sales and channel strategies and the delivery of products and service offerings through an order-to-cash process, Xerox said Monday.
She previously managed technology and process design teams that helped federal agencies in efforts to transform purchasing, development and deployment operations.
Prior to GSA, Smee worked at IBM in various executive positions focused on client sales and support and technical offerings.
