The International Institute of Space Commerce has named Mary Hill, operations manager for Systems Planning and Analysis’ Australian business, as one of the recipients of the 2018 35 Under 35 in the Space Industry award.
William Vantine, CEO and president of SPA, said in a statement published Friday that Hill has the potential to become a senior executive in the company with her skills in business development and analytical skills and contributions in several technical and leadership positions.
Prior to her current position, Hill served as the director of aerospace analysis and senior research operations analyst at SPA’s office in Houston, Texas for two years, and as a research operations analyst at the company’s Alexandria, Va., headquarters for nearly five years.
She joined SPA in 2009 as an operations research analyst intern then became a full-time associate operations research analyst a year later.
Hill’s skills include modeling and simulation, cost and economic analysis, data mining, performance analysis and wargaming.
The IISC is a non-profit organization that holds global discussions about solving issues in space commerce.
