Northrop Grumman has received a $25M contract modification to help the U.S. Army conduct battlefield experiments as part of the service branch’s Mission Command Training Program.
The Defense Department said Tuesday work will take place in Fort Leavenworth, Kan. and that the Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command will obligate $20M in fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.
MCTP facilitates collective training for military personnel using multiple simulation platforms designed to replicate operational environments.
The Pentagon expects the company to complete experimentation services to the service branch by Nov. 30.
