Jacobs Engineering Group has received a $13.9M bridge contract from the U.S. Navy to provide information technology and assurance support to the Defense Department‘s focal office responsible for overseeing F-35 weapons systems.
The Defense Department said Monday that Jacobs’ technology business will continue to help the F-35 Joint Program Office manage IT and IA programs, enterprise architecture, assets, emerging technology and requirements through January 2019.
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division will obligate $7.5M from the U.S. Air Force’s fiscal 2018 aircraft procurement funds at the time of award.
Seventy-seven percent of work will take place in Arlington, Va., and the rest will occur at various facilities in California, Maryland, Ohio, Texas and Florida.
