BAE Systems has won a potential $39M cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide support services to the U.S. Navy’s multimission airborne detection system.
The Defense Department said Tuesday that the Office of Naval Research awarded the contract to BAE’s information and electronic systems unit via a long-range broad agency announcement dated Sept. 29, 2017.
ONR will continue receiving proposals throughout the year and obligate $10K from the Navy’s fiscal 2018 research, development, test and evaluation at the time of award.
BAE will perform most of the work in Honolulu, Hawaii and the rest in New Hampshire, New York and Texas through Sept. 2, 2022.
