The U.S. Army has issued a request for information on potential companies that can help the service branch support and sustain tactical signals intelligence payload on MQ-1C Gray Eagle unmanned aircraft systems.
A FedBizOpps notice posted Tuesday says the Army requires engineering and logistics services to support an Intelligence and Security Command forward operational assessment and TSP maintenance efforts.
TSPs are designed to help supported units visualize electronic emitters within the operating environment, as well as identify and copy emitters such as high value targets.
The Army also seeks technical support services for the integration and test of UAS payload on the Gray Eagle’s extended-range variant, as well as for follow-on operational test, evaluation, production and delivery of 3U configuration pods.
Interested contractors should provide a technical and management proposal to meet and demonstrate the support requirements for existing and future fielded systems.
The branch will accept responses to the RFI notice until Sept. 15.
