SOS International has won a potential $78 million firm-fixed-price contract to provide technical support to U.S. Army Europe’s intelligence directorate.
The company said Monday it will help the service branch analyze intelligence data, provide security support and manage information systems across USAREUR’s area of responsibility.
Five bids were submitted to the Army 409th Combat Support Battalion for the contract via an online-based solicitation, according to a Defense Department statement released Friday.
Julian Setian, SOSI president and CEO, said the award will expand the company’s footprint in the continent and build on similar work it performs for the U.S. Air Force.
The Reston, Va.-based intelligence contractor moved to diversify its portfolio with the acquisition of defense information technology services provider STGÂ earlier this year.
