SAP National Security Services‘ nonprofit organization has commenced a three-month information technology training and employment program for military veterans in Tampa, Fla.
NS2 Serves offers the course for post-9/11 service members to obtain certifications that can help them qualify for high-tech jobs, the nonprofit said Monday.
Veterans who complete the program will receive a Certified SAP Associate designation. They also have a chance to receive communication skills training and business mentorship.
“It is wonderful to see new faces eager to learn new skills to aid in their transition from the military to the corporate world,†said John Campbell, chairman of NS2 Serves and a retired U.S. Army general.
Campbell added the nonprofit has trained and placed more than 200 veterans in information technology and data management at multiple government and commercial entities since 2014.
