TheÂ Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum has announced the finalists under theÂ 10th Annual Government Contractor Awards, an event giving recognition to emerging government contractors.
Candidates will be divided into six categories from which the winners will be selected, SECAF said Thursday.
TheÂ Government Contractor of the Year segment focuses on companies working to boost financial performance. The awarding for this segment will be divided into three subcategories with consideration to revenue value.
TheÂ SECAF Award of Excellence segment recognizes firms that excel in their respective communities, theÂ government contracting industry and towards employees.
The Government Project of the Year segment highlights companies able to produce a program of significant contribution to the government.Â Advanced Concepts and Technologies International is among the candidates for this award.
Lastly, theÂ Small Business Mentor/Partner of the Year segment gives emphasis to prime contractors that commit to supportingÂ small businesses and subcontractors. Candidates for this award includeÂ CACI,Â Fulcrum andÂ Science Applications International Corporation.
The event takes place today at Hilton McLean in McLean, Va.
