The Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum has announced the finalists under the 10th Annual Government Contractor Awards, an event giving recognition to emerging government contractors.
Candidates will be divided into six categories from which the winners will be selected, SECAF said Thursday.
The Government Contractor of the Year segment focuses on companies working to boost financial performance. The awarding for this segment will be divided into three subcategories with consideration to revenue value.
The SECAF Award of Excellence segment recognizes firms that excel in their respective communities, the government contracting industry and towards employees.
The Government Project of the Year segment highlights companies able to produce a program of significant contribution to the government. Advanced Concepts and Technologies International is among the candidates for this award.
Lastly, the Small Business Mentor/Partner of the Year segment gives emphasis to prime contractors that commit to supporting small businesses and subcontractors. Candidates for this award include CACI, Fulcrum and Science Applications International Corporation.
The event takes place today at Hilton McLean in McLean, Va.
