Cubic‘s Global Defense business is set to exhibit six training platforms during the U.S. Army Association’s LANPAC Symposium and Exposition, which will take place May 22 to 24 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The company said Monday it will showcase these technologies during the international event, which seeks to emphasize the Army’s role in the Indo-Asia-Pacific theater and the Joint Force.
CATS Metrix is a software designed to help instructors in planning, conducting, controlling, overseeing, debriefing and evaluating live force-on-force training using next-generation exercise control and after-action review methods. SCOPIC, meanwhile, uses synthetic wrap technology and long-term evolution networking to add a virtual-based synthetic systems layer around training exercises.
The Rapid Raid Rehearsal augmented reality headset is built to instantly produce virtual interior space for exercises involving team movement and clearing while Synthetic Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance is geared to provide sensor-based full motion video that can be used with persistent analysis and consumption software. The Portable Communication Stations serve as mobile platforms that provide localized control and monitoring capacities for situational awareness.
Lastly, the EXONAUT Software Suite is a product made in collaboration with 4C Strategies designed to aid the CATS Metrix platform in designing training scenarios and supporting management.
Dave Buss, president of Cubic Global Defense, stated that the products are geared to streamline training through the use of predictive analysis.
