Cubic has unveiled an expanded facility in Huntsville, Ala., that consolidates the development, production, engineering and administrative functions of its GATR Technologies subsidiary.
The 100,000-square-foot GATR facility at Cummings Research Park will support the unit’s growth efforts, Cubic said Monday.
GATR produces satellite communication terminals designed to help military customers transmit data and voice transmissions.
“With the expansion of our facility and operations in Huntsville, we will be able to to continue supporting the community by creating more jobs, while providing service to our customers,†Mike Twyman, president of Cubic’s mission solutions business.
Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle and other local government officials attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the GATR facility Monday.
