Harris has received a $44.7 million contract modification from the U.S. Air Force to manufacture an updated configuration of the ground-based Counter Communication System.
The Defense Department said Tuesday Harris will provide Block 10.2 systems along with depot spares to the service branch under the modification, which brings the contract’s potential value to $127.1 million.
Work will take place in Palm Bay, Florida, through Feb. 28, 2020.
The company initially received a $53.1 million contract in November 2016 to update the CCS Block 10.1 variant.
The Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center’s Space Superiority Systems Directorate is the contracting activity.
