Harris has been named the prime systems integrator for a project to update a military communications network of an undisclosed Asian country.
The company said Wednesday it will replace the country’s disparate systems with military and commercial products that will compose an integrated platform compatible with Falcon IIIÂ tactical radios.
Falcon III is designed for military users to secure voice and data communications and track friendly forces.
Harris added the integrated network will work to generate a multiservice common operating picture as well as support satellite communications and IT systems.
The company will equip the network with its hC2 Software Suite battle management system designed to manage command-and-control functions and increase multidomain situational awareness.
