Capco has received a potential five-year, $39.8 million contract from the U.S. Navy to produce two impulse cartridge variants and test aircraft ejection devices.
Work covers the production of WA83, CCU-136A/A; WB24, CCU-145A cartridges; and/or production lot testing of ejection devices from aircraft, the Defense Department said Wednesday.
The U.S. Air Force and foreign military sales customers in the Netherlands, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Israel, Japan and the U.K. will receive the items.
DoD noted the ordering period will run through March 2023 and fiscal 2018 funds worth $2.1 million will be obligated at the time of award.
