LogRhythm has obtained approval from the Department of Homeland Security to offer two of its cybersecurity tools to government customers.
The company said Tuesday its NextGen Security Information and Event Management and User and Entity Behavior Analytics platforms are now available to the Defense Department and civilian agencies through DHS’ Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation program.
Daniel Wilbricht, senior director of LogRhythm’s federal programs, said SIEM and UEBA are designed to help customers detect and respond to cyber threats.
Wilbricht added that LogRythm aims to support government agencies’ compliance with CDM program standards as well as aid their security intelligence efforts.
SIEM works to evaluate security event data in real time and deploy countermeasures against threats, while UEBA targets insider threats using artificial intelligence.
