Boeing‘s Digital Receiver Technology subsidiary has secured a $23.8 million contract to provide ruggedized surveillance equipment and peripherals to the U.S. Navy‘s Combat Direction Systems Activity Dam Neck.
The Defense Department said Thursday that CDSA Dam Neck will use the equipment in engineering, technical design and acquisition activities.
The service branch will obligate $30,610 in initial contract funds slated to expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
Work will take place in Germantown, Maryland, through February 2023.
CDSA Dam Neck works to engineer and field warfare systems designed to support the Navy’s C6ISR, systems engineering, integrated training, combat system readiness, support and sustainment, systems safety engineering and cybersecurity readiness engineering, test and evaluation efforts.
