Leidos has been included in Thomson Reuters‘ 2018 list of the top 100 technology companies worldwide.
The information services provider launched its Top 100 Global Technology Leader program to rank global technology firms based on eight performance metrics, Leidos said Thursday.
Leidos Chairman and CEO Roger Krone said the company works to develop creative technology platforms “to help address critical, global challenges.”
“Our culture of innovation inspires our employees to support vital missions across a diverse set of public and private landscapes,” Krone added.
Thomson Reuters used an algorithm developed by its Boston Innovation Lab to assess the performance of more than 5,000 technology companies across eight areas including financial; management and investor confidence; risk and resilience; legal compliance; innovation; people and social responsibility; environmental impact; and reputation.
Leidos obtained scores above 80 in half of the criteria and achieved the highest score for the innovation rating that measures a company’s capacity to cut environmental costs for customers as well as develop new market opportunities through environmental technologies.
