Sera-Brynn has signed a two-year cooperative research and development agreement to facilitate information exchange with a cybersecurity laboratory branch of the Department of Homeland Security.
The CRADA serves as grounds in which Sera-Brynn can jointly conduct R&D with DHS’ National Protection and Programs Directorate Office of Cybersecurity and Communications, seeking to support infrastructure, networks and systems critical to national security, the company said Tuesday.
Information to be exchanged under the CRADA will be regarding cybersecurity, cyber vulnerabilities and communications.
Rob Hegedus, CEO at Sera-Brynn, stated that the company sees the agreement as a way to aid the country’s security and the company’s efforts to improve cyber risk management capacities.
