Kristin Morico, former leader of global environmental programs at General Electric, has been appointed environmental health and safety management strategic executive director at AECOM‘s design and consulting services unit.
AECOM said Tuesday Morico will be responsible for establishing an consulting business that will integrate the firm’s component services across different business sectors such as the provision of EHS management services to multiple clients.
Morico previously held leadership roles at Clairol, Malcolm Pirnie, ABB/Combustion Engineering, Tyco International and United Technologies Corp.’s Pratt and Whitney division.
She is currently an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the advisory board at the University of Connecticut School of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
The more than 30-year industry veteran previously served as a lecturer at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and as president of the National Association of Environmental Managers.
