Janus Global Operations has received a two-year contract to provide risk management and security services to a life support and logistics provider that operates at an oilfield facility located in southern Iraq.
Janus said Thursday it will also manage a team that aims to help secure the client’s transportation operations across the region as part of the contract’s protective security detail provision.
The company has provided stability operations support to government and commercial clients in Iraq since 2004.
Under two previous efforts, the company helped eliminate improvised explosive devices and other similar threats that have posed risks to residents within Ramadi and Mosul.
Janus holds ANSI/ASIS PSC.1-2012 certification that recognizes quality management systems of private security providers.
