Georgia Tech Applied Research to Help Develop Info Systems for DoD's Special Access Program - top government contractors - best government contracting eventGeorgia Tech Applied Research Corp. has received a $7.2 million contract from Washington Headquarters Services to help develop and engineer information systems for the Office of the Secretary of Defense.

GTRC will provide research, development, operations and engineering services for information systems that support OSD’s Special Access Program community, the Defense Department said Tuesday.

The Pentagon obligated $2 million in fiscal 2017 R&D, test and evaluation funds along with $1 million in fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.

The research company is scheduled to finish contract work June 23, 2018.
