BAE Systems has partnered with Cranfield University in the U.K. to offer an apprenticeship program that aims to help graduate engineers obtain a masters-level qualification.
BAE’s level 7 apprenticeship program’s academic activities are scheduled to commence Monday and will cover topics such as operations management, design-based innovation and cost engineering, the company said Thursday.
An initial group of 76 engineers will conduct the teaching courses through online video sessions with the use of Cranfield University remote learning platforms.
Participants will receive a Postgraduate Diploma in Engineering Competence if they complete training.
Interested applicants for a BAE apprenticeship in 2018 may choose from about 650 training venues.
