Warren King, former CEO of Australia’s defense materiel organization, has been appointed to chair the advisory board of Northrop Grumman‘s Australian subsidiary.
The more than 35-year defense sector veteran will lead the advisory board that provides guidance to Northrop Grumman Australia leaders on market dynamics and development strategies, the company said Wednesday.
Ian Irving, CEO of Northrop Grumman Australia, said King will contribute his technical and market experience to help grow the subsidiary’s foorprint in the country.
King previously held senior management roles at multiple small and large Australian companies.
He joined industry after 20 years of service in the Australian navy, where he specialized in combat systems engineering and supported the military branch’s operations in the U.S. and the U.K.
