A United Technologies Corp. subsidiary has received a one-year, $22.9 million contract to supply U.S. partner nations with tactical reconnaissance pods through the foreign military sales program.
The Defense Department said Wednesday that UTC Aerospace Systems will provide DB-110 pods, program infrastructure, airborne data link terminals, surface terminal equipment, fixed and transportable ground stations and data to FMS clients under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Air Force.
DoD noted that the ordering period will run through Dec. 31, 2018.
Farmington, Connecticut-based UTC formed its aerospace systems business through the combination of DB-110 developer Goodrich and Hamilton Sundstrand.
