KBR‘s government services business has received a potential five-year, $69.3 million contract to help the U.S. Navy integrate, test, engineer and install a multimission datalink system.
The Defense Department said Tuesday that KBRwyle will also perform in-service engineering, training, logistics, repair, validation, quality assurance, lab maintenance and technical management services under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
KBRwyle will provide the services to the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division’s Combat Integrated and Identification Systems Division for Systems Engineering and Technical Services Department.
Fifty percent of the work will take place in St. Inigoes, Maryland, and the other 50 percent will occur at various ship and shore locations through January 2023.
NAWCAD competitively sourced the contract via an electronic request for proposal and received one offer.
