Juniper Networks has introduced a series of applications built to help simplify network operations and convert ideas into automated workflows.
The company said Thursday the Juniper Bots cover an evolving ecosystem of software applications designed to transition from the common use of machine-focused automation tools.
Juniper Bots utilize the AppFormix and Contrail platforms along with real-time analytics features built to translate business requirements into automatic configuration changes throughout organizations’ networks.
“Juniper Bots bring us closer to our vision for The Self-Driving Network, one that requires less human intervention and the ability to focus on more strategic business initiatives,” said Sally Bament, vice president of service provider marketing at Juniper Networks.
The company introduced the Contrail Intent Bots and AppFormix Analytics Bots to help network operators analyze available data and update their methods of interacting with the network.
Juniper Networks also unveiled updates to the Juniper Extension Toolkit to expand the coverage of its current management and control application programming interface framework and help developers produce applications with direct data plane access on vMX and MX Series 3D universal edge routers.
