ManTech International has won the “Best Company for Veterans†recognition for the second year in a row from online employment platform Monster.com.
The company ranked first on Monster.com’s list of 10 finalists for veteran recruitment and retention practices, ManTech said Monday.
“ManTech has a longstanding commitment to hiring former members of the U.S. military, and we are proud that nearly half of our more than 7,000 employees are veterans,” said Jeff Brody, chief human resources officer at ManTech.
Jodi Hon, senior vice president and general manager of enterprise business at Monster, said ManTech recorded a veteran hiring rate of 64 percent for 2017.
ManTech is “also leading the way with stated annual goals to exceed the previous year’s numbers and increase their veteran hiring year over year,†Hon added.
A panel of professionals with military experience assessed the nominees for the Best Company for Veterans honor based on the firms’ retention rates, percentage of veteran hires, recruitment programs and employee onboarding and development initiatives.
