CSRA has unveiled a new virtual center that seeks to deliver cybersecurity capabilities, innovation and consulting support to government clients.
Keith Alexander, a retired U.S. Army general and former National Security Agency director, delivered a keynote speech Thursday during the launch of the company’s Cyber Center of Excellence in Tysons Corner, Virginia, CSRA said Friday.
Alexander also serves as a board member at CSRA.
Matthew McFadden, cybersecurity service area director at CSRA, will serve as director of the new center that will operate through the company’s physical offices in Louisiana and Maryland to provide threat intelligence data and related resources to help government customers defend their network infrastructure from persistent cyber threats.
“Access to the latest cyber technologies can be the difference between preventing an attack and reading about it in the news,†McFadden said.
CSRA also presented at the event its cyber partners for the new center such as Cisco, Red Hat, Juniper Systems, Palo Alto Networks, Splunk and Digital Guardian.
The Cyber Center of Excellence will work to build technology prototypes through collaboration with CSRA’s emerging technology and key alliance partners.
