Modern Technology Solutions Inc. has received a $10 million contract modification to help the Missile Defense Agency develop interceptor and sensor concept models.
MTSI will also create algorithms for interceptor and sensor on-board systems as well as simulate methods and tools for the agency to define, execute and aggregate data sets, the Defense Department said Monday.
DoD noted the modification increases the ceiling value of a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity-contract to $35.5 million and that the original ordering period of between Aug. 26, 2014 and Aug. 25, 2019 will remain unchanged.
MDA obligated $300,000 in fiscal 2017 research, development, test and engineering funds at the time of award.
The company will perform work under the modification in Huntsville, Alabama.
