Advanced Concepts and Technologies International has been named one of the finalists on one of the “Contractor of the Year” categories of the 15th Annual Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards.
ACT I said the company is eligible for an award under the category for contractors with up to $25 million in revenue.
“We are honored to be selected and recognized as a finalist, along with our fellow government contractor nominees in the awards category, and look forward to participating in the annual awards gala in November,” said ACT I CEO Michael Niggel.
Announcement of winners will be held during a gala on Nov. 1 at the Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner, Virginia.
A panel of industry and government professionals will pick the winners on all categories from the selected finalists out of the list of nominees submitted by the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the Professional Services Council.
Categories are spread across four revenue sections for Contractor of the Year, three revenue sections for “Executive of the Year” and the “Program of the Year” category.
The event will also see the induction of a govcon sector leader into the Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards Hall of Fame and the selection of an individual as the “Public Sector Partner of the Year.”
The awards program aims to recognize members of the region’s govcon community based on their leadership, innovation and commitment to excellence.
