Salient CRGT has received a potential five-year, $11.5 million contract for information technology and operational support to the Defense Commissary Agency‘s Enterprise Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence system.
The company said Wednesday it will provide big data, cybersecurity, data analytics and management and life cycle  services as well as help DeCA sustain the EDW/BI environment.
“We are pleased to have the opportunity to support one of the most highly sought after benefits of military life.. and the military personnel, families and retirees who rely on these outlets,” said Tom Ferrando, president of Salient CRGT.
The company also plans to roll out tools and technologies intended to help the agency deliver support services to military families through the EDW/BI program.
DeCA oversees a network of nearly 240 commissaries worldwide.
