Two executives from Unisys‘ federal business unit, Jennifer Napper and Susan Becker, have been appointed to leadership positions at separate non-profit organizations that support government-industry partnership.
Napper, vice president of Unisys Federal’s Defense Department and intelligence group, has been elected to the board of directors of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association International, Unisys said Wednesday.
She will help develop AFCEA’s strategy for facilitating discussions among members on issues related to information technology, communications and electronics for the defense, homeland security and intelligence sectors.
“Beyond their outstanding respective contributions to Unisys Federal, Jennifer and Susan have demonstrated a willingness and ability to assist the government IT community at large with issues that affect us all,” said Unisys Federal President PV Puvvada, an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2017.
Becker, vice president of alliances at Unisys Federal, was elected to a second term as vice chair at large of ACT-IAC’s executive committee.
She will continue to develop and optimize ACT-IAC’s conference program and work with members of the executive committee to establish the organization’s long-term strategy.
