Catherine Bohn, a more than 20-year veteran of Dewberry and a certified geospatial information system professional, has been promoted to associate vice president at the Fairfax, Virginia-based professional services company.
Dewberry said Monday Bohn has supported the Federal Emergency Management Agency as well as state and local government customers on the use of remotely sensed data and geospatial analysis tools.
She oversaw the full life cycle of GIS projects in her previous role as senior project manager at the company and was deployed to natural disaster areas across the U.S.
Her professional background encompasses algorithm development, analysis, field data collection, geospatial database design, GIS training and needs assessment.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in geography from the University of Mary Washington and a master’s degree in geographic and cartographic sciences from George Mason University.
