Woolpert has partnered with data analytics firm FICO to help government agencies evaluate their cybersecurity risks through the latter’s Enterprise Security Score.
Woolpert will integrate FICO’s ESS with its EC:Secure platforms and services portfolio under the partnership, FICO said Monday.
“We’re taking FICO’s advanced analytics to the federal government and enabling agencies to benchmark their performance, as well as that of their partners and vendors,†said Kim Hansen, national security marketing manager at Woolpert.
The ESS platform offers a metric that helps streamline third-party vendor management and risk assessment at the board level.
FICO’s ESS works to generate security scores through the use of machine learning algorithms designed to analyze data related to an institution’s cybersecurity posture and is designed to provide organizations with information on potential security threats in order to facilitate remediation of cyber issues.
Doug Clare, vice president of cybersecurity solutions at FICO, said the adoption of FICO’s ESS would help Woolpert assist agencies to comply with President Donald Trump’s cybersecurity executive order.
