Rob Zitz, senior vice president and chief strategy officer at Space Systems Loral’s government systems business, is scheduled to moderate today a panel discussion on next-generation satellites at the GEOINT 2017 Symposium that kicked off Sunday in San Antonio, Texas.
Zitz, who is also co-chair of the U.S. Geospatial Intelligence Foundation’s small satellite working group, will lead a discussion on measures the geospatial intelligence sector should take to benefit from next-generation satellites and related ground systems, SSL said Thursday.
SSL and its parent company MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates have begun to exhibit end-to-end GEOINT platforms and services that include signal and imagery processing, ground systems, systems development and multi-intelligence analytics that seek to accelerate decision-making processes.
MDA and SSL have also showcased at the four-day event a set of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems designed to support national, commercial and international security initiatives.
