PV Puvvada, president of Unisys‘ federal business, has been appointed as vice chair of the Professional Services Council’s executive committee and board of directors.
Unisys said Friday Puvvada will lead strategy development and implementation at PSC in his new role.
“PV has been a key contributor to PSC for years, and we are pleased he has accepted this leadership role to help guide our overall efforts to represent the companies that support the missions of U.S. federal agencies,” said David Berteau, PSC president and CEO.
“I look forward to working as vice chair on the PSC executive committee and board of directors and representing the interests of member companies,” said Puvvada, an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2017.
Puvvada was chosen to serve on PSC’s executive committee and re-elected to remain for another three years on the organization’s board of directors in December 2016.
He was also named chairman of PSC’s Civilian Agencies Council, which focuses on acquisition policies and strategies of federal civilian agencies.
PSC is a trade group that represents technology and professional services companies that provide support to the federal government.
